Many companies use an array of tactics to get their corporate images and names into common and pleasing surveys. Businesses creating on the web surveys might ask what people “love about” a certain product or spur people to discuss their products through questions and multiple choice setups, thus blurring the line between entertainment and business.

Surveys with fun and light language ask participants to list their favorite products — soft drinks or pizzas, for example. Creating on the web surveys can be fun. Many people make their own on the web surveys to post on their websites or personal pages. The surveys can be created to find out more about how visitors like products or services the individual offers, or to gather data on shopping habits. On the internet surveys don’t necessarily need to have any rhyme, reason, or purpose; plenty of people just get a kick out of creating on the internet surveys for the pure pleasure of seeing which ones get the most answers and to see what sort of answers they get.
